Hi, I am Austin,

Hello! I’m Austin Kang, a UX/UI Designer based in Orange County, CA. Previous to UX, I was studying Full Stack Web Development, danced competitively with multiple SoCal teams, and even picked up a part-time job as a barista at my local coffee shop. I’m grateful for all my past experiences that allowed me to learn how to cooperate as a team because teamwork makes the dream work! During my days as a developer, I learned how to code with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other back-end languages. After working on several web projects, I found that I mainly enjoyed working on visual design. Helping people solve real problems through design and visual communication is what I do best. This is why I decided to make the switch to User Experience Design.

Observing and learning how others think and behave is very interesting to me. With every new project, I learn something new from a different perspective and I think that’s what makes being a UX designer so fun!

Aside from work, I love playing Valorant with my friends, relaxing on the weekends with a cup of coffee while listening to Soulection Radio, and driving out to San Diego for the best tacos!
